Right in the middle of a seemingly innocuous Disaster Do Tank at the Tribeca Anti-Summit, the lights went out! Participants experienced a simulated electrical grid failure caused by solar flare and reacted by creating real-time solutions to help the city react. FIT volunteers rapidly trained participants to use the 3-part design process. Next, teams created 15 solutions designed to help NYC respond to the mass-power failure.
